Typical Duration
For most patients, Botox results last somewhere between 3 and 4 months. You won't wake up one day with the effect suddenly gone. Instead, you'll notice movement gradually returning, and the lines you treated may start to reappear.
Some patients prefer to rebook before that happens, while others wait until they feel ready.
What Affects How Long It Lasts
Several factors influence how long your results last.
Your metabolism plays a role. People who are very active or have faster metabolisms sometimes notice Botox wearing off a bit sooner.
Muscle strength matters too. Stronger, more active muscles may break down the product faster, especially in areas like the forehead or between the brows.
The treatment area can make a difference. Some areas tend to hold results longer than others.
Dosing is also a factor. A lighter dose may wear off sooner, while a more tailored dose for your anatomy may last longer.
And for patients who treat consistently over time, the muscles often become trained to relax, which can extend the time between appointments.
What First-Time Patients Often Notice
If this is your first time getting Botox, you may notice the effect wears off a bit faster than expected. That's normal. Your muscles haven't been treated before, so they may bounce back more quickly.
With consistent treatment, many patients find their results become more predictable over time, and some are able to go a bit longer between appointments.

When to Schedule Your Next Appointment
There's no single right answer. Some patients prefer to stay ahead of it, rebooking around the 10 to 12 week mark before movement fully returns. Others wait until lines start showing again and then schedule.
It's a personal preference, and Nurse Jayme can help you figure out what rhythm works best for you.
Does Letybo Last as Long as Botox?
Letybo and Botox have similar durations for most patients. Some people notice Letybo kicks in a bit faster, while others find the feel slightly different. But in terms of how long results last, they're comparable.
If you're curious about the differences, we're happy to walk you through both options.
