Before Your Appointment
There's not much you need to do ahead of time. If possible, it may help to avoid things that can increase bruising, such as certain blood-thinning medications or alcohol shortly before your appointment. Otherwise, just come as you are and bring any questions you have.
What Happens During Your Appointment
Nurse Jayme will start by studying how your face moves. She looks at which muscles are creating lines and how strong those muscles are. Then you will talk through your goals, whether you want something very subtle or a bit more noticeable.
The injection itself takes about 10 to 20 minutes depending on the areas treated. Most people describe it as a series of quick pinches, nothing too intense.
What to Expect Afterward
You can go right back to your day. Some people notice minor redness or small bumps at the injection sites, but this typically fades within an hour or two. Avoid rubbing your face for the rest of the day, and skip intense exercise for 24 hours if you can. Results won't be immediate, so don't worry if you don't see changes right away.
When Will I See Results?
You won't walk out looking different. Results develop gradually over the first week or two. Most people start noticing changes around day 3 to 5, with the full effect visible around 10 to 14 days. If needed, Nurse Jayme can reassess how you responded and talk through any next steps.
Why We Start Conservative
For first-time patients, Nurse Jayme typically starts with a lighter dose. This lets you see how your body responds without going too far. You can always add more later if you want additional smoothing, but you can't take it away once it's done. Starting conservatively means you stay in control.

Common First-Timer Concerns
Will I look frozen?
Not with the way Nurse Jayme approaches treatment. She focuses on softening lines while keeping your natural movement intact.
What if I hate it?
Botox is temporary. If you decide it's not for you, the effect gradually wears off over a few months. Starting conservative also reduces the chance of an outcome you're unhappy with.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe it as a series of quick pinches. It's over fast, and numbing is available if you're sensitive.
