Collagen Induction Therapy
FDA-cleared SkinPen microneedling to treat acne scars, fine lines, pores, and texture. Safe for all skin tones.
We Get It
Texture, scars, enlarged pores, fine lines — these are the kinds of concerns that makeup can't fully address. They show up in certain lighting, in photos, in the mirror when you're not expecting it.
At-home dermarollers and serums can only do so much. Clinical microneedling reaches depths that consumer devices can't, triggering the deeper collagen response your skin actually needs to repair and renew itself.
Common reasons patients seek microneedling:

How It Works
Microneedling works by creating thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. These microscopic punctures are small enough to heal quickly, but significant enough to trigger your body's natural wound healing cascade.
The response? A surge of new collagen and elastin production. Over the following weeks and months, this new structural protein fills scar depressions, tightens pore openings, smooths fine lines, and restores overall texture and tone.
It's your body doing the work — we just give it the right signal.
Our Device
SkinPen by Crown Aesthetics is the first microneedling device to receive FDA clearance — and remains the only device with FDA clearance specifically for acne scars. It's not a consumer roller or an unregulated import. It's a medical-grade, precision instrument designed for clinical use.

Know the Difference
Not sure which is right for you? Many patients start with SkinPen and progress to RF microneedling if deeper intervention is needed. We'll recommend the right path during your consultation.
What to Expect
Skin is thoroughly cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied for 20-30 minutes to ensure comfort during the procedure.
The SkinPen is passed over the treatment area at a calibrated depth specific to your skin concern. The entire procedure takes approximately 20-30 minutes for the face.
Expect mild redness similar to a moderate sunburn for 24-72 hours. Most patients return to normal activities the next day. Makeup can typically be applied after 24 hours.
New collagen production begins within days and continues building for 3-6 months. A series of 3-4 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, produces the most significant improvement.
Where to Start
During your consultation, we assess your skin under proper lighting, discuss your concerns and goals, and determine whether SkinPen microneedling, RF microneedling, or a combination approach is the right fit.
