Dr. Elizabeth Hughes earned her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from the University of Virginia. She completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University, where she served as chief resident and subsequently joined the faculty, teaching for eight years. Dr. Hughes brings over 25 years of clinical experience to her role as the medical director at Next OV Skin.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hughes became increasingly aware that, despite advancements, conventional medicine often falls short in treating many common conditions. After witnessing the unexpected resolution of what was deemed an "incurable" disease, she dedicated herself to understanding why mainstream approaches sometimes fail to help patients.

At Next OV Skin, Dr. Hughes is dedicated to overseeing the team help patients unlock their natural healing abilities to improve their well-being and maintain lifelong health. She believes the principles of self-healing and rejuvenation, central to the practice, represent the most sustainable way for individuals to regain their sense of self.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Hughes enjoys hiking, kayaking, spending time with family and friends, traveling (most recently to Santiago, Chile), and perfecting her bread-baking skills.
