LIPOcel Body HIFU Aftercare
Congrats on your LIPOcel treatment! LIPOcel uses focused ultrasound energy for noninvasive body contouring. There's generally little to no downtime, and most people head right back to normal activity.
Your LIPOcel treatment area may feel a bit tender or "different" for a little while — that's expected, and results build gradually over the following weeks.
Your treatment was customized to your skin, treatment area, device settings, and medical history. These instructions are general guidance and do not replace the individualized instructions from your treating provider. If the instructions we gave you at your appointment differ from anything here, follow your provider's instructions or contact us for clarification.
If something doesn't look or feel right, please reach out — photos are often helpful.
What to Expect
- Mild warmth
- Temporary pinkness or redness
- Tenderness when pressing on the treated area
- Mild swelling or bruising in some people
- Occasionally an altered or "different" sensation in the treated tissue for a while
What To Do
Return to normal hydration, eating, and daily activity.
There is no medically necessary "detox," cleanse, or mandatory two-liter water protocol required to make LIPOcel work. Normal healthy hydration is plenty.
If the area is tender, give it a little time before deep massage, very intense heat, or anything that feels uncomfortable.
Results Timeline
Some people notice early change within several weeks, but the more meaningful result is generally assessed around 8–12 weeks. More than one session may be appropriate depending on the area and your goal — this is a process, not a one-and-done.
When to Contact Us
Contact us for severe or worsening pain, blistering/burn-like skin changes, substantial swelling, persistent or progressive numbness, or a skin-color change that concerns you.
